Have you heard the dictum " Call the spade a spade " ?... Well interpreting any issue is a kickoff to be able to resolve any obstacle, but the solution may be contrasting than typical.

There is a theory that counter - productive strategies when rotated will lead towards a real solution and in practical terms, this means that it is important to look at the individuals established coping strategies and then consider doing the exact opposite. If one of them who is fearful of certain situations will instead have to face upto them, rather than to utilise their existing coping mechanism which may be of avoidance. Helping them to realise that facing fears head - on is actually far more productive, but will take some time, as people naturally favour existing behaviours.

Dodging will subvert the individual's feeling of credence and so they will feel unable to tackle, as the daily actions may serve to maintain their ordeal, as they act without thinking, to reduce the distress that would be experienced when faced or challenged.

Side stepping - rather than facing one's fear, the individual simply tends to erode the confidence which is exactly opposite of what needs to be achieved. The individual will remain afraid or anxious of a specific situation and never give themselves an opportunity to overcome their fears.

Secrecy - when concealment involves the individuals childhood, blunder being done, psychological problems or even aspects of their persona which is been disliked by them, leading to generalized communication.

Delaying tactics towards drawbacks - Dealing with problems while continuously suspending any obstacles and hinderences, while waiting for the right time to confess, which actually does not happen anytime soon. This coping skills saves some discomfort which infact is short term, as any unresolved issues eradicated begins to weigh them down.

Identifying social anxiety like having extreme fear, especially with situations which are unfamiliar and fearing evaluation, one constantly thinks about being judged and even goes an extra mile to avoid being confronted with their presence, in this process they begin to disrupt themselves. No matter how painfully withdrawn one may seem, they can learn to overcome being uncomfortable in social gatherings and actually reclaim their life. As mentioned earlier it's always better to face the fears, not concluding that it's only happening to oneself, everyone goes through social anxiety and the reality differs according to the triggers one faces.

Don't react in such a way that changes can be made sooner, it's not going to happen like a magic wand erasing everything, but by challenging your negative mentality and trying to focus on the positives, be PATIENT with yourself, try and socially associate with small steps.

No matter how awkward you feel in front of others company, learning to silence the self - critical thinking is a favour to self for good, by boosting your self esteem, becoming more confident while interacting with others, and not changing your personality during this transformation within your internal battlefield, instead raising up progressively and change into your... AUTHENTIC SELF!!!
